Invitation to World Metrology Day Celebration 2025

Measurement System Laboratory (MSL), in partnership with the Metrology Society of Australasia (MSA) and Ministry of Business, Innovation and Employment (MBIE) Trading Standards, invite you to join us for the events on 20 May 2025 in Wellington. 

This year, World Metrology Day (WMD) is commemorating the anniversary of the signing of the Metre Convention in Paris, in 1875. This treaty provides the basis for a worldwide coherent measurement system that underpins scientific discovery and innovation, industrial manufacturing, and international trade, as well as the improvement of the quality of life and the protection of the global environment.
