Wellington Laboratory – Temporary closure

Trading Standards is pleased to announce that the Wellington laboratory is moving locations. To allow for moving and setting up the new lab, the laboratory will be temporarily closed from Friday 11 April until Friday 30 May 2025. During this time, Trading Standards will not be able to conduct any verifications of standards in the Wellington lab.

More information about the new laboratory location will be released in due course.

If you have standards due for verification in Wellington during this period, please book these in for verification before this time or consider having your standards verified in one of our other labs in Auckland or Christchurch.
